Come follow the dream, a dream fueled by memories of workshops, workshops where we met people we really
liked, where we saw community grow and people flourish.
The dream is to build a Values Realization Foundation that would live long after each of us has left a
thumbprint upon it. It would be a living testimony to all that we gained and took away from those workshops
once some long ago summer, or in a lucky life changing weekend. Dreams were built in those Values
Realization workshops.
The foundation would have a site, the dream says. Ideally, it would be near some ocean, but clearly, a place
where people wanted to get to, to be at. At the site there would be a library, one that would contain
everything ever written by anyone in the movement, examining and exploring Values Realization at its
sweetest level.
There would be a "museum of sorts," a place for keeping archives of all that went before. It will continue
to keep records of all that happens from this time forward about Values Realization.
At the site, the dreamers want there to be an audio tape, film and video production facility so there can be
a constant stream of valuable audio-visual materials going out to teachers, counselors and parents and all
who need what we have to teach.
The dream says that there will be a Purple Rug room or a Kirkridge Room where workshops can be held at a
furious rate commensurate to the need in the society for our work.
The dream states that there would be provisions at the Foundation for Scholars to come for a sabbatical, to
join others in a Think Tank that will be working on our unique processes to design what is next for Values
Realization to tackle and transform.
There would be programs for just "people" to come be at the Foundation for short times to regain their
strength, to benefit from retreats, to eat good food, meet others on the journey to healing, to relax or to
work on a project that really matters to them.
The dream is being created as you read this, because if you are touched, you will contribute to whatever it
takes to make the dream fly. That dream is a true work in process. It will probably not be finished in my
lifetime, or in yours. But, it will be a reality. You need to dream with us. What an opportunity. What a
challenge. What a chance to shape something that could make an enormous difference in how we live our
lives, in how we build a society so good that people will say, "It seems like a dream." But it will be
real.
